Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I have two turtles and I was watching them just now. I have no idea what is going on. I have noticed for a while that one turtle will always seem to be sniffing the others rear end. But now one seems to chase the other all over the tank. When the one being chased stops the chaser will get in the turtles face and flutter(?) his paw in front of the others face. Kind of like a southern lady does with a hanky but right in the turtles face. Its also has it nose almost nose to nose. Whats going on? Am I missing something?

either it is agression or one turtle has the hots for the other ;)

seriously though it is now time to consider two seperate set ups for your turtles. If kept together the chances are too high that they will fight and one will get injured or killed.
