well actually, i know my turtle (musa), have RI, when i look, he always sleep on basking area, with eyes close. so i think he has runny eyes, i give him food like carrot. but he doesnt eat, because the eyes is closed. well well well. and i panic. so tomorrow, finally he open his eyes. but, i see he floating on the water. its wierd. and he doesnt go to down, or hide. he keeping float. the last is, when i see he breath, he open his mouth a little bit (0,001 inch) and when i taking him up, on his nose, pop bubble.
so i little bit confused, then i go to vet, he say, luckly your turtle save. this is just only the beginning from RI. not the advanced one. he say in the morning, give him hot water (30-34 Celcius). and he vacine antibiotic also vitamin A, D, E. so i'm happy now. but after 4 days. my turtle in quarantine tank, just keep like that. bask area, runny eyes, and float. then i remove the bask. after a long hour, he sleeps in water at Noon. so what can i do?? in indonesian, its hard to find good vets for turtle. How?? and how long does RI will gone? is it 1 month, or 4 weeks, pleasee helpp. i'm panic

With antibiotics, you should see an improvement within a few days. Do you know what antibiotic was used and what dosage? Was it a week-long treatment or just one day's worth? Can you go back to the vet for an additional treatment if needed?

The one thing I disagree with is the water temp of "hot water". 30-34 degrees Celcius is like 86-93 degrees F which is WAY too warm. That will cause your turtle great stress. Back that down to around 27 degrees Celcius and keep it there all of the time, not just in the morning. That will help his immune system. Also, you need to get him eating. Don't bother with carrots, they won't give him the energy he needs to fight with. Do you have any stinky cooked fish around, like tuna or salmon? Give him that, about a head-sized piece, each day. He needs the protein energy right now.
