Can my turtle go a week without UVB if he has UVA? I need to buy another light but I don't have enough money, if he needs it now I can get it but if he can go a week with out it I can get him a light.

Sun light is a good idea providing the temp is warm enough. When purchasing a uvb light get the less stronger one, the .50 as the 10 is too strong and can damage the eyes. The rules of the road is water temp between 75 and 78 and the basking temp at 90 to 91 degrees. All with clean filtered water. Good Luck. b.

When taking him outside just remember to watch him 24/7. They're pretttty rogue on land.

One week is fine. Two weeks is even fine. If your local temps aren't higher than 75 degrees, don't take him outside as it is way too cold.
