General Care Discussion :: a new idea for cooling water

well after i buy some machine that increase O2 for fish. i dont know what kind machine that. i put 3 machine ( i know i'm insane ) yeah just to make sure when turtle drink the water they can stole the O2. lately i come again an the temperature goes down from 29 to 27. well after that. a while, i check again its same 27. yeah its work perfectly. yeah about fan (computer fan). i just scared about the air draft, i scared about RI. yeah its bad for turtle. well it nice idea. but well i machine of 02 stole 150 W, imagine if you buy 3, 450 W . well same as aircone..
and thats what i think... what do you think??

They cant get O2 from the water. It might help with bio filtration though.

I think it would be best to cool water away from the turtles, like perhaps in a sump.

What about air stones? Don't those put oxygen in the water?

I'm having trouble understanding your English, but I'm guessing you are saying that this O2 machine has cooled down your water. That's excellent! As long as whatever it is isn't blowing onto your basking area, you should be in no danger of them getting an RI from that. RIs are actually bacterial infections, just of the lungs, and you would need the right bacteria in the air to get an RI. Cool drafts don't give turtles RIs, they just help increase the risk.
