Turtle Clean won't do any harm, but it didn't do me any good either. Left a white film all over everything.

I'm using it. I used it once a month for 3-4 drops after spring cleaning the whole tank. My water didn't turn green and left any white thingy. My turtle also fine.

James,

water conditioner takes out the hard minerals in your water such as chlorine, limescale, iron, copper, etc. Bio media will not remove these. These chemicals are actually harmful to biomedia and could inhibit the growth of bacteria in your bio material.
