Anyone know anything about them. There was an ad in our free press someone has to get rid of theirs was thinking about taking it. What do you need for them? The ad said he had a cage for it but he hasnt called me back to get more info. Are they easier or harder then sliders? Any info would be great

I did some quick googling.. you'll have to find out exactly what kind of boxie he has.

Asian, Chinese, Malayan all fall under the 'asian' category.

There are nine species of Asian box turtles. Its helpful to know which one but my guess would be the malaysian box turtle being the most common because the others are basically rare turtles.

They fall under much harder to care for then sliders. Habitats are not to close at all.

They require land and water habitats. High water temps, and humidity.

I find the Malayans easy to care for - I've had 3 .
2 Mini. Schnauzers - Yukie, Sukie.
3 Red Ear Sliders - Winina, Winana, Winona.
3 Fire-bellied Newts.
