General Care Discussion :: tank accessories ( hand painted)

Just looking at some of the new tank bling I purchased, and some of it is hand painted TERRARIUM merchandise from ( blue ribbon pet product) . Does terrarium mean ( dont use in aquarium) lol...anyone use any of this stuff in water tanks.

If it came in a box and is a "blue ribbon pet product," it should say on the box whether or not it's OK to submerge it in water.

Its new and has a blue ribbon hanging tag, and the tag does not specify....no box...I called blue ribbon 1st and they said it should be fine when I gave them the item # and that ( most) of their terrarium stuff is aquarium safe. Not very convincing... Thanks marisa, im going to submerge it 1st elsewhere and let whatever runs off happen before putting it in the tank.

I'd soak it in some plain water for a day, separate from your tank, and see how it reacts.
