You need uva lighting for heat and uvb lighting for the turtle to metobolize his food. The basking temp should be about 90 to 91 degrees and the water about 75 to 77 degrees. Good Luck!!

Can you tell us more about the setup? Is the turtle eating too quickly? Is there anything else thrown up beside what was eaten?

How much are you feeding the turtle? Usually they vomit when they eat too much. (Dunno if you know, but they should get a head sized portion)

If the turtle is eating to quickly, you can control the feeding by giving them one piece of the lettuce or pellets at a time. You can even break the pellets in half if you want.
