Sen-5 -- This will be short. Water between 74 and 77 degrees no warmer unless they are sick. Basking area at 90 to 91 degrees. Lighting to include heat and uvb to enhance metabolism for health. UVB light to be .50 and no more. Size of tank to be at least 10 gallons per inch of turtle and a filter that pumps at least 5 times the volume in the tank. Good Luck!! M.

Hey, I used 60watt household incandescent bulb for their heat. My turtles don't have any problem to bask..
