Anywhere between 60 and 90 days. That's the usual time is takes them to show signs of illness, or signs of recovery.

And depending on the size, you may not want to integrate them until they are close in size. For instance, putting a 1" turtle in with a 5" turtle will likely result in the 1" turtle being bullied and injured/killed. If you wait a year, you will have a 4" and a 6" turtle, much closer in size. Also, it's best to put them in to neutral ground rather than put one into another's tank, making the one an intruder.

Tam-i I would suggest about 90 days. After you put them together watch them like a hawk for any aggession. Your older turtle may consider it an invasion and or an intrusion on his territory. m.
