Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Sat Jul 18, 2009 2:24 am   URGENT!!

Hi guys I currently have an ATBA made by myself it is open top and decently sized sides. I need somewer were I can buy a new one as my turtle has outgrown this one. My turtle terrance just about managed to climb over it today i dont know how but he did. anyway he fell and i quickly hurried and made sure he was ok (am goin to take him to the vet to check for any internal injuries on monday as the herp vet is shut til then) BUT I need a quick resolution or something I can use for a few days as a basking area until tuesday when my next day off is to go and get some more materials to build him a new one.

Any advice much appreciated thanks

If all else fails, it's alright for a turtle to not bask for 3 days... :)

No problem with that, I'd think. Just remember to put him back into the water
every now and then and at night.

I'm planning on making an above tank basking spot out of a small storage bin soon. I like the storage tubs because it's a little bit easier to attach the clamp lamps to them.
