I have two RESs, a girl and a boy.

For the last two days they have become so agitated that they just want to get out of their tank.

I did get them out but they only stayed calm for some hours then again start trying to climb out of the tank.

I don't really know what's wrong with them and I really worried.

Any idea is really appreciated.

How old are your turtles? How big are they?

What size tank do you have them in?

The tank is about 70 liters (70*30*30 cm^3) and they are about 4 inches.

The tank is quite small for both those turtles, at this point you need a 300 liter tank and a even larger as they fully mature.

What is the water temperature? Can you post a picture of the setup?

Today they were even more agitated than yesterday.

^^That tank is way too small...That can be the reason they are so agitated. Also you need to raise that water level to at least half the tank...

I have raised the water level, thanks for the help.

But it takes at least a week so the new tank will get ready. I am going to order it today. Meanwhile is there anything I can do?

Also, does mating make them agitated? They are very young but they show signs of mating.
