need some help here...i have 2 RES and one has extremely long nails and the other barely has any is there any distinguishing characteristics like that between male and female
The males have long front claws and longer/thicker tails than the females. These characteristics generally aren't noticable until the turtle is 4in or more.

well i got then aroun march of this year they are maybe 10 months old and prolly about 2-2 1/2 inches long but my one RES has really long nails and the other one has little stubs
