Yes, it's a sign of aggression. Keep watching them to make sure they don't hurt
each other. If they start attacking, you may want to separate them for good.
It's just a nature of RES, especially, to be aggressive. More so when they're in
captivity, like an aquarium. We try to minimize that with the "10 gallons per inch
of shell" rule.
