General Care Discussion :: Leaving Home for a while.

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I hate when I have to leave home.. I worry about my little guys. I have the auto feeder, and I going to leave the heater on around 70 in the house.

But still I am worried.

Anyone else always worried when they leave .

Yep, every time I leave I'm worried the whole time that I'm going to come back to an electrocuted cat and turtle! She's just too darn curious for her own good. But then I get back and all is well.

You could try setting up an internet camera and have it focused on the thermometer and feeder at the same time. Then you can watch the temps, watch the feeder at feeding time, and see that your turtle is still moving around and well!

(I've seriously considered this, btw.)
