...Even the largest ZooMed dock is way too small for "Buddy"...do these companies think that turtles don't grow or what?....any suggestions?...I know about cork bark being used, but I'm having trouble finding the right place to get some....help!

How big of piece of cork are you looking for? I agree that the docks are too small, I was never a fan of them.

If you can affored $50 - $60 bucks then just get a Turtle Topper form PetCo or somewhere. I only say that because they're great and they also allow you till fill your tank up quite a bit more thus giving you lil one the most swimming room. They work great even for larger turtles if you happen to have a larger one.

Only setback about the turtle topper is the maximum size tank it fits is a 50gallon and if his turtle doesn't fit on the largest turtle dock he shouldn't be in a 50gallon.

Your best bet would be to make a ATBA.

Agreed about the size of the turtles but compared to the largest ZooMed platform the TT is far superior in size among other small things (details).

I just purchased two pieces of cork bark from an ebay seller named tillystuff. Here's a link for their ebay store: http://shop.ebay.com/tillystuff/m.html? ... =12&_rdc=1

They didn't have exactly what I was looking for listed, so I sent them an email to let them know the size of the pieces I was looking for. I received them in the mail just a few days later.

The cork bark worked perfectly. I have it wedged into my turtle's aquarium, so it's elevated without having to use anything to hold it up.
