hiya everybody,my res wont poo..he are she has been eating good,but hasnt had a poo for some time..she seems very healthy,but getting a bit conserned....any one have any ideas? :?

Do you watch the turtle every minute of every day? He may have done it and you didn't see - they eat their own poo and usually right after they do it, so you usually won't find any in the tank.

Also, I've noticed that turtle poo is not solid. It looks solid, but the slightest touch
will make it dissolve into the water. That's when my turtles only ate reptomin
sticks. I'm not sure now that I feed them a mix of reptomin sticks and veggies.

if hes eating it,is that not bad for him..in the past the poo is always in the tank and i net it out..

Well, turtle naturally eats their own poo. It's to absorb the nutrients not absorbed
in the first pass.

Do you have gravels in your tank? If you do, take them out ASAP. Gravels can
cause digestive system blockage if swallowed.
