General Care Discussion :: basking question

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Mon Mar 08, 2010 5:58 pm   basking question

Hi everyone. I've had my res for about 2 years now. Lately, while basking, he lays his head and feet down on the dock and doesn't hold them in the air like he usually does. I've caught him doing it about 3 times in the last month. Temperature is fine and I changed the filter the first time I saw him do it. Has anyone ever seen this and know what could be happening?

Mine does that too. I'd say it's completely normal.
