I was wondering if you use Turtle Eye drops at all times, or just when you turtle has an eye problem?

I wouldn't use them all the time if the turtle is perfectly fine. If the problem is cured then maybe treat for another 4 to 7 days and stop unless it flares back up would be my suggestion.

If you look at the box the drops came in (I'm assuming they're ZooMed drops), it will tell you.

You don't treat a condition that isn't there.

I never had any luck following the directions, the bottle I had said to drop once weekly no matter if the turtle was sick or not and drop twice daily and some in his mouth if eyes were swolled shut. Of course you don't need to treat indefinitely but they will tell you to simply so you have to buy another container. The ingredients are like pure vitamin A so its not going to hurt them but still you have to stop sometime right?

I used the drops a long time ago, but no longer have the container. I don't remember, however, the directions saying that they should be used indefinitely...(and at any rate, even if they did, I wouldn't do so)

The drops (this is ZooMed I'm talking about) are not pure Vit A, but rather a diluted form of the vitamin along with other substances. Pure Vitamin A would cause harm if taken indefinitely---it is a fat soluable vitamin that is stored in the body; too much over time can lead to an overdose and can be fatal.
