I'll try to add pictures when it happens again, but for now, my description will have to do.
I've had my RES for 5 years and lately I've noticed something different he's been doing. His tank has been smelling worse and when I clean it - or even before that - I find these little black clumps that basically look like animal droppings. This has happened for the past month or so, but before that, I had never seen his droppings larger than stuff floating around or collected in a corner. It's a dark brown, basically black color.
Anybody have any suggestions or an idea of what this is and how it could be solved?
