General Care Discussion :: acting weird??????

ok so i have 2 res one is bigger then the other by a inch to a inch in a half and i was told maybe one was a boy and the bigger one a girl but they are still to small to be sure well anyways i had got up and looked in the tank and saw that the bigg on (female maybe) was laying at bottom of the tank and the smaller one (male possibly) was walking on the bottom of the tank when to the other one put his fron legs on the side of his face stuck them out past his head and walked towards the other one on his back feet with his front legs next to his head and when he got to the other one he kept walking around the other one but i got a lil to close they saw me and then both swam to glass towards me so i can play with them....so what i am wondering is what was the smaller one trying to do when he walked around the big one with his fron legs next to his head

probably trying to mate or show dominance or to fight.

if it continues pay closer attention to how they act

would they be mating alredy there only max of 8months old...and they have a 60gallon tank witch is more then 10 gallons per inch long

they dont start mateing till there about 4-6 Years old. 4 Years being the earliest but usually around 5-6 sometimes even 7 years old (not always tho)

If there both really small its probably dominance issues

Both the turtles in the picture looks like males so its fighting.
