What and how much are you feeding? Is the poop normal or diarrhea?

I try to give them as much variety as I can. Carrot peels, apple peels, water lettace and other aquatic plants. I most def. don't over feed them. Every other day at the most.

From my experience you should probably cut back on the carrots, apples, and Romain Lettuce to once a month or so. My turtles get diarrhea with too much Romain Lettuce, also my turtles poop a lot if I give them carrots and apples.

Also, if you want to feed them Red Leaf Lettuce every other day that would be better. Since in the feeding section Red Leaf Lettuce is much safer for Red ear sliders than it is Romain Lettuce.

for my turtles, I usually just throw in one big leaf from the Red Leaf Lettuce once every 2 days or so, they don't seem to get diarrhea from that. Strangely, Romain Lettuce at the same portion gives them diarrhea.

I'm gonna hafta switch! I scrubbed all their rocks and docks clean yesterday and changed out most of the water. Going to do it again today, just to make sure my turtles aren't swimming in poo!
