Hey Everybody im goin to petsmart, for a complete upgrade, any input for good stuff for the little guys/girls that yall have to work out really good?????

oh but before things get to crazy lol, just take into account that im living in military barracks here on base so i dont have room to go real big and creative (its killing me not to) until my wife is here and we get our house

So im back from petsmart :D and they had a complete aquatic turtle kit so i got that( and there was a floating dock in there with it), and on my way out they had a RES for sale and i couldn't help it and i got him so in total i have 3 RES, 3 pleco, and then about 15 feeders in there at the moment................ make that 13 ha ha :o

And how many gallons is the tank that all these creatures are in?

I'm assuming that the new RES is at least 4 inches (the store legally
shouldn't be selling anything smaller). Ideally just s/he should be in a 40-gallon tank...

I see potential trouble coming---both for the turtles and you.

It would be good to do some reading on the site about what your turtles need.

right now its a 20G long tank, i didn't intend to get the big one but it was in a small tank with barley any room but its just temporary due to current living conditions, just found out i get my new house in a week then i'm getting a 55 gallon tank

personally i hate getting things in kits. most of the time the items are cheap and break easily.

F4iguy, you can easily get a 90 gallon tank on Craiglist for ~200 dollars for everything. I thinking of getting this.

1 Mississippi Map Turtle 3.25'' (Landslide)
1 Ouachita Map Turtle 4.0'' (Hurricane)
The rest of the turtles have been adopted to good homes. :)

DAMN that looks freaking awesome!! i want something like that but thats really big and im active duty military, i move every three years, plus right now its more a money issue im newly married and until recently i was the best financial planner and need to keep what i can
