Speedy hasnt basked that we've seen, we've seen him go on to the basking area but as soon as he gets there he goes straight back into the water..
how long can he go without basking?

im not worried about tuck, he pretty much spends most of his time basking

maybe he is shy.

for the first month or so i would never see my turtle bask. i didnt even know if he was or not but he looked fine. then i would only hear the splash of him diving into the water when i walked close to the room

after awhile he got used to me and will bask when im in the room but that never happened before for atleast a year.
