Speedy and tuck.. they had like only a inch and a half of water in the tank at the store and small gravel and a peice of drift wood that was it in the tank.. since i got them like 2 hours ago they have been so happy.. i thought they would be WAY more skiddish then they are..
they havnt got up on the dock yet, but they do go on the ramp part of it just not fully out of the water yet. they are swimming like crazy... after about 20 minutes of being in the tank tuck tried to sleep under a rock, but shawn got nervous and made me move him.. we wernt going to feed them till tomorrow because we didnt think they would eat. but then we noticed them nipping at things so shawn put a itty peice of pear in there and tuck ate it and got speedy mad. so i put in some turtle pellets, 6 broken up ones, and they ate it all! Speedy like to play with the thermometer and the water coming back in the tank from the filter.. and tuck likes to play with the rock. Speedy is the bigger turtle by a little bit.. with a browner shell then tuck. tuck is a nice bright green.
