General Care Discussion :: Very weird living things

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I need some help. I have had an RES for 7 months and I clean his tank the same way I always do but this time after taking a couple of rocks out, I noticed that there were orangeish, tannish worms on the counter where I clean everything. They were teeny tiny and kept wrapping themselves in a ball. Are these from him??? Is he sick and we don't know? He is acting just fine. Any help would be great! Thank you!

They are long, skinny, and orangeish/tan. I should probably call the vet. They look like something you see at the pet store with the fish.

I really appreciate you sending me that link! I think they look like blackworms but I don't feed him live food. Today they look white in the water.
