I found a nice size rock today and washed it and then boiled it.. It's now in my Res tank does anyone think that will cause her to get sick? Someone told me it's not a good idea after I already put it in her tank

it should be fine. boiling would sanitize it.
i got my rocks in my tank from my fiances work, and he works at an autowreakers. i just washed them in the bathtub and then poured boiling water on them, and my two are fine.

After you washed and boiled it, I think it should be alright to put it in the tank.

If you can, identify what kind of rock it is. Some type of rocks can alter water
properties around it, for example making the water more basic or acidic. Granted,
turtles aren't that susceptible to water properties, it's still nice to know.
