On both my young RES, along their spine is a whiteish stripe. Should I be worried?

This isn't really unusual, some hatchlings do have what looks like a whitish stripe down their spines. It should fade as they grow. I wouldn't worry.

They aren't hatchlings and the white stripe just appeared. I have had them for 3 months, just noticed it today.

Well, the RES in the pic looks like a hatchling---technically, a hatchling can be up to a year old.

Is there anything in the tank that their spines could be rubbing up against?

According to the length of my turtles, they are yearlings.
There is a large rock that they hide under, along with a hallow, floating log that they go inside of.

And how long does a turtle have to be to make it a yearling? One year = yearling, younger than that, hatchling.

Perhaps they're scraping their spines on that rock or when they go in that log.

I don't know how old they are, I am simply going off of their size.

Should I remove the rock?

in comparison to the hand in the picture it looks like a baby.

it looks like the size maybe a bit bigger then my one turtle speedy, and he has a line like that as whell on his back.

Well, I think if they're not growing as fast then the white line could stay.
