Yesterday my res was sick throwing up carrots I fed her on wed. Now I notice that she's not really eating. I feed her a little in am and little in evening. pellets.. she ate very little this morning but now nothing. sHe goes for it and tries to eat it but nothing.. I'm a little worried something is going on.. I'm very new to this since I'm turtle sitting for the next 4 years I've been asking alot of ?? Sorry!! Maybe I'm over watching her

If your turtle got sick and vomited it will take a few days to get back on track. If it will eat pellets, that is good. I am sure it may take some time. You will have to see if it is still sick from something. Pellets are easier on them.

Turtles don't really like carrots so that may be why she threw them up. I'd suggest pellets or lettuce.

How much did you feed her? Carrots are fine to feed, but too much of anything is not good.

I fed her about five pieces but as of today she still has not pooped I call the vet waiting for a call back.. I dont know if its the change of tank and now she has the basking light.. but she is swiming fine and basking but, she goes for the pellets brakes them up then nothing.. Ahhh

Today she is doing alot better She pooped.... Yea lol And is eating. The one thing I do see is alot of shedding but, I guess that comes from the change of now having a basking light and warmer water.. Her new name is turdella ha ha.. fits her well.. Thank you for the help..
