hey Guys
i buy Feeder fish for my RES and well each time about 200-300 fishes and they die so fast cause i dont use air Pump i mean i dont have an extra tank to put them there
my RES only eats the ones that are bigger than the rest which are so few...10-15 in 200
i keep the fishes in a box and they die fast so i asked a vet, whats the best way? he said put the dead fishes in freezer and give them everyday ( when they get warm)
and here is my Question...is this way ok? the good vitamins calcium and other things will be ok or not?

I don't understand, you keep the fish in a box? I don't get it, maybe I'm reading it wrong.
Why do you buy so many feeders at a time? Couldn't you just buy a few every month? Feeder fish shouldn't be given to your res everyday anyway.

no i wrote in a stupid way
i keep the fish in a box with water , i dont have a tank for them
and well these stores that are around they bring these feeder fish once and then a long break , so i buy as much as i can !
ohh! i tought its a natural food and its ok if they eat everyday
i give her sera raffy mineral pellets and these fishes , she dosent eat any kind of plant and vegetable...so what should i give her?

also http://www.redearslider.com/index_nutrition.html It'll talk about pellets, veggies, fish etc. You shouldn't offer feeders everyday because of their high quantity of protein. Take a look at the site, it's very informative.

Also, if you want to keep the fish alive get a small bubbler, I bought one for my guppies for $5 and the air stone + tubbing was 0.99 cents! I started with just 5 guppies and they reproduce, so no need to buy feeders again. There's a sticky on how to breed your own guppies. But anyway if you just want to keep the fish you buy alive, get the air pump, you can get them for cheap.
