General Care Discussion :: Shedding or pyramiding?

@Winterchick- lol the only thing you need to worry about is making sure that your turtles dnt get out of ur tank lol and trust me, once you raise the water level they will LOVE YOU for it!!!

@Farshad-Long time no talk to! I agree with steve some shedding will do both turtles some good, and your using a UVB/UVA Light right? and try feeding them some sweet potato and some more veggies.

Thanks Moose. They seem to like more water a lot!! And a question, why do you recommend sweet potato? Does it help with pyramiding? Can you feed it to RES often?

I recommend sweet potatos and blueberries to help enhance shedding I give it to buster and eugene just about one a week or once every 2 weeks, but definetly once a week if they need a shed

Farshad, off topic but where did you get that green patterned matt? I like the look of it and think I would like something like that.

Moose, do you give the blueberries to them whole and in a separate tank because I would think they would make a mess. :/

And do you cute the sweet potato in little chunks or thin pieces?
