Huh, I don't think I've seen anyone ask that yet. It's a good question. What brought to mind feeding your turtles peanuts though?

i had a bit of an accident with peanuts getting in the tank and them trying to eat them seconds later

Turtles will eat almost anything. I may not be good for them, but they will eat it.

Technically, peanuts are not nuts. Peanuts are actually in the bean family, but they're so high in fat that I would not recommend them for turtles.
