General Care Discussion :: PLEASE HELP! TURTLE IN DANGER OF DYING

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Sun May 30, 2010 10:47 pm   PLEASE HELP! TURTLE IN DANGER OF DYING

My Mom wants to release my turtle out into the wild!

I've told her the turtle will die, but she wouldn't listen and dosen't care enough!

I've decided it's best for me to find another place for my turtle, but WHERE?!!?!?!?

I don't think any turtle resevation will accept such a common turtle! I also live in Texas and can't find a reservation. :(

If I can find a reservation in Texas, I just might be able to transport him there!

And I have to find out in a WEEK!

Please, help me and save my turtle from being released into MY DAD'S WORKPLACE POND! WHERE HE WILL SURELY DIE!

Look for someone to adopt your turtle...

You might try to find some local keepers/enthusiasts who can help...

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but it's almost summer vacation (I am a student) and my Dad might want to go in a vacation in Texas, but it has to be a MAJOR city like San Antonio.
Thanks

Thank you so much for offering! But I've decided like just right now that I'd like to give him to the Gulf Coast Turtle and Tortoise Society in Houston! My family can't exactly take care of him properly, and it looks like he's "prymiding."

The GTTCS looks like it can properly nurse my turtle back to heath. :) I hope he'll like it there!
