I noticed i saw a few youtube videos of people putting that Vitashell on their turtles shell to condition it? Even when their turtles shell was healthy. I thought you only used it for damages on the shell? So does the vitashell really do anything for your turtles shell if there's no damage to it?

The product is not really good to use at all. It's oil based and prevents the shell from breathing. A healthy shell is in need of nothing. If the shell is in poor condition, rather than using Vitashell, improve the habitat and diet.
