I began to belive that my little RES was shedding, but now I'm not sure if its fast growth. Could you please post pictures of a turtle who is shedding?

If the water is too hot they shed too i think. When they are shedding you can see those white skin floating around them (look like fur) when they are in the water, but you wont see it if you move them away from the water. and for shell you will be able to see white but transparent shell.

Well the look of shedding can look a couple of different ways. Some the turtles shells just start peel up right away and have perfect shedding like this:

Others sometimes get air bubbles first under their scutes. It gives a look of golden little dots forming like this:
