I Have male and female RES since last 9 months, during the time Female growth are very fast. when i bought both both are equal size approx. 2.5" and now female is arround 5.5" and male is approx. 3.5" looking wise male looks like kid. why this happen. Can somebody help me out.

Its perfectly normal. Female res are susposed to get much bigger then male red eared sliders so it is natural that the female is getting bigger faster.

What if you get two female turtles at the same time and turtle a is slightly bigger but then 8 months later turtle b is 3 inches bigger then turtle a and turtle a has only grown a little seemingly compared to the other.

could be the one is getting enough food if they are not separated during feeding. or it could be a genetic thing
