The quality is not the greatest as I used my iphone, they appear to been shiny underwater. When dry it looks a little transparent as you can see some green coming through. I have been feed him a blueberry each day for a week to help if its shedding. It does seem to be increasing. At the very top in the middle of his shell it kind of looks like lifting. Is this just shedding?

The white is a fungal/yeast infection, the green is algae. Algae is not a major problem, even natural and controllable. There does seem to be some scutes getting ready to shed, but it might not help if the fungus is spreading quickly. My recommendation: Make sure the setup and diet is correct and try silver sulfadiazine cream for treatment.

Is silver sulfadiazine something I can buy in a pharmacy or pet store? Or is it something I need to get a vet to prescribe?

It's a prescription in the US, but some have been able to buy it online. It probably won't cost much more than what a vet would charge, so if you do have a vet, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Here is a pic where he is fully dry. I noticed his shell has very deep grooves between each scute is that normal?

It could look deeper because of the retained scutes adjoining it.

The scutes need to shed so that those "grooves" smoothen out.
