Does she have a light over her? Sometimes the warmth will calm them down. Also, if it's a glass tank, it would be good to cover the sides.

Not a direct light no, But I can do that..and thanks i'll cover the sides

ok we switched to a rubbermaid tub and a much deeper soil and she is much more happier, she was digging her nest in less than 5 minutes of going in it ...

That's great to hear! Did she lay all her eggs?

no its seemed to be an empty nest, i carefully moved the soil after and found nothing, though she isn't trying to get out of the tank now and she is eating and not restless..weird..I put her back in the soil and she looks at me like i'm nuts, LOL!

Have you tried feeling for eggs (in front of her rear leg) after she made the nest? Did her weight feel the same after she made it?

Shes heavy to begin with, and yes she feels about the same, we found the info on feeling for eggs AFTER she was digging her nest, but we've felt her after and she does not feel like she has eggs..maybee it was just instinct like the male doing the mating dance before hes really ready to mate? I don't know...
