Hi everyone, havnt been on in a while. I've updated fionas tank and added pink play sand. But the only problem now is that she is always eating the sand! And I mean like I have to bribe her with pellets to stop eating. I wasn't to worried until I saw her.. Poop the other day. It's nothing but pink sand! It's almost like a white/clear outside but is filled with sand. Is this healthy?? It's to the point where I just wanna take the sand out. She eats it by the mouthful! Any kinda information will help. I just don't want this to hurt her. Thanks a lot!!

How long has she had the sand in her tank? If she won't stop, then you have to remove it :(

maybe the problem is the color. PINK!

pink should come out again pink!~
not white =.=
if white, means stomach absorbs the color!
and turn the organ into pink!
 =.= am i using the right sentences?
and do you guys get it?

Hey! so yea the outter shell of the poop is white.. and when it breaks open there is all the pink sand. now i went shopping for some food and i noticed she was eating the smaller pellets for turts under 6 inches.. well Fiona is 7.25 inches so i bought a bigger pellet for her. i dont know if this will help, i noticed her this morning eating some sand but i yell her name a few times and she comes up to the surface to see me. I really hope she stops this because her tank is really cool. wish i could upload pics via iphone. Anyways, thanks for the help!

I think you should remove the sand even if it's 'really cool'.

I never heard of RES pooping white poop..... I think you should remove it before it gets worse.
