i found a white string thing in her doodoo when i was netting it out of the tank and it floated away and got sucked up in the filter :(
what could it have been?

If it wasn't actually a piece of string, it could have been part of a tapeworm. If any more comes out, it would be good to take a stool sample to a vet to be analyzed for parasites.
