My fish food is pink..and sometimes my turtle gets ahold of a few flakes and i have noticed lately he has some light pink colouring between his claws and under his neck..and somewhat on his shell

i guess i should do the obvious and find a food that isnt pink? because i cant take my turtle out everytime i feed my fish its just too much..

I would find a different fish food thats brown/white.
But when you can take your turtle out while you feed them.
I don't know if its good or bad if the turtle eats the fish food hopefully someone else will answer that for you.

It might not necessarily be from the food, I sometimes see a little pink coloring around my RES' the feet.

Is it bad to have a little pink discoloration on the bottom of his shell?

Not necessarily and as long as it's not a symptom of any illness/infection.

My RES a little bit of pink on his plastron but it's not smelly nor soft.
