General Care Discussion :: Mello is not basking...?

Just a quirk I noticed: ever since I moved Mello into a bigger tank, she has stopped basking. :\

Not that she stopped from the beginning-- in the first hour that she was acquainted with her tank, she climbed onto the dock to bask for a few minutes. But ever since then (3 days ago) she's never basked again.

Any idea why? Or something I did wrong?

Put something around the end of the tank where the basking area is. Perhaps your turtle needs more privacy.

It takes some turtles more then 4 days for them to get used to their setup maybe even a couple of weeks. Just give him some time. Also try putting food up on the dock.
