So some of you may have seen my other topic on what plants to put in with my RES..
I'm really considering getting some aquatic plants. But just to be on the safe side, I won't be growing them with my RES initially. I'll nurture them in Mello's old 15 gallon tank.

Do you guys know some common aquatic plants that have a decently quick growth rate? (I don't want to wait months for it to grow a few inches)

The only one I've used is Anacharis and it didn't seem to grow quickly. Duckweed grows quickly but I'm not sure if thats the kind you're looking for.

Growth will also depend to some extent on how the plant is kept.

hornwort and anacharis have grown fast in my experiences, its gonna depend a lot on how u r taking care of the plants, it might be easier just to buy more when u want to feed them to ur RES rather than deal with it

I've only tried to grow ancharis which I had no luck in getting them to grow. But If you let them float or plant them into the 15 gallon put a filter in it, some plant food and a few lights over the tank you should be fine.
