I was wondering when is a turtle no longer considered a hatchling?

And when do you start to feed your turtle every second day instead of everyday?

i started feeding my turtles every other day after they got at about 1,2 pounds.
1 red ear slider, male
1 red ear slider, female
??? feeder fish
2 white mice male and female (many more to come)

Technically, a turtle is a hatchling until a year of age. Then it's considered a yearling.

Thanks guys! I guess Niko is still a hatchling then! I have had him since June 22nd, 2010.
