i wanted to know if implanting microchip for RES is bad or not? i need to take him with me to another country and i have to do this
isnt it dangerous for them? where do they inject the microchip in turtles?

I've heard good and bad things about microchipping but it doesn't sound like you have much of a choice. I have not heard of this being done with RES but would not be surprised that you are being asked to do this.

As for the procedure, they use a large needle (so your turtle might need to be a certain size) and I believe they inject it into the front leg, but I'm sure the person implanting the chip will determine the best spot.
