Hi all,

I'm starting to worry that Boog might have eggs and she is reluctant to lay them.
She's not eating anything, pellets, vegetation, or fish.
I also caught her scratching her tail with her hind legs, in addition she seems like she's constipated and trying to hold something in because she would close her eyes and have her legs spread and then all of a sudden she would blow bubbles...
I have provide a sand box for her to try and lay her eggs but so far it is unproductive.

I was wondering if there is anything i could do to help her or if i should take her to a vet.
Thanks so much!

how old is your res? if she is under 5 i don't think she can have eggs, if she is older you should try to feel the eggs in front of her hind legs, you should feel hard lumps in her stomach. my res laid all her eggs but one (i can feel it in the abdomen), now i am worried but there's not much i can do because there is no specialized vet in my area to take her to :( . good luck
