Hey, I was wondering what sort of bulb I should get for my RES and YB? They both in same tank and I hve a heat basking bulb but what UV rays does a turtle need? Is it just UVA or is it both UVA/UVB?

Thanks

UVB bulbs emit both UVB and UVA rays. They'll also need a heat source (like a regular incandescent bulb).

First of all, hi all. I was wondering can I use my desk lamp ( it warms the basking area pretty good, RES is always coming out to bask ) in exchange for UVA bulb? I also have an UVB light provided.
