Hey i was just wondering... at what point do you start feeding your turtle EVERY OTHER DAY instead of EVERYDAY? (as in, shell length)

Probably to reduce the chance of overfeeding. You can feed everyday only what would fill half a head or every other day a full heads worth of pellets(which is a protein source). My turtle is 3.75 in and I feed every day half a heads worth, with fresh lettuce (green leaf or red leaf) always available for grazing. So far she seems to do fine on that schedule. I'm keeping an eye on her if she seems to be gaining to much weight or her growth is to fast I'll cut down on the protein source. It's hard to tell the age of a turtle unless you've had them from a hatchling so that's why the 4 in or 1 year old every other day. Every turtle is different though so there may be a 1 year old turtle that's only 2 in, that turtle should probable be fed everyday to encourage healthy growth.
