General Care Discussion :: Timid ~.~

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

My Turtle's Spike & Mary are a month old and they still seem to be timid when people watch them on how they swim and bask.

My concern is that I shifted them into outdoor from indoor. cause it's less expensive and less maintained. Is it ok?

I person bought the big tub and landscape it and ask a carpenter to improvise a basking area for them to hit up when the sun come's up. they usually hide under the rock. ~.~ How can i gain they're trust in being not timid to other people?

Most of us keep our RES indoors, so that's not a problem. As for them getting used to you... it just takes a bit of time. It won't take long until they are furiously splashing water all over you for a treat.
