RES dont understand, they just keep scratching hope they can swim more, but they dont know anything about this thing. this thing is usually called glass. most aquarium made from glasses.
My turtles like to scratching the glasses =.= every morning they all get crazy. -_-

so any idea?

can glasses make turtles hurting them self? and cause an infection?
or glasses can make turtles happy.. because they can see their owner. -.-

Glass won't hurt them. Make sure the tank is large enough to reduce the chances of them hitting the glass at full speed.

Depends on the turtle. I don't have a nervous turtle so I think he enjoys being able to interact with us. I nervous turtle may prefer non glass.

Aquatic turtles will have no ill-effects from swimming into glass all day; eventually they will learn spacing and get the dimensions of their home down until they swim along it.

It's funny how they remember the dimensions of their tank, water height. If I change the height by an inch or two she'll go up for air and realize she needs to swim up a little further if the water is higher.
